Box Dawgs started with one truck, one dorm move, and a simple idea: students and parents deserve a moving service that treats them like family — not a number.
We're UGA students too.
It started with a problem we'd watched every move-in week: parents driving in from out of state, packed cars overflowing, kids dragging boxes up four flights of stairs in 90-degree Georgia heat, and somebody crying by the second hour.
We're UGA students who realized we knew the campus, the buildings, the timing — and we owned trucks. So we built Box Dawgs to take the worst day of move-in week off your hands.
Now we serve 500+ UGA families a year. We pick up at semester's end, store all summer, deliver back when classes start. We move you cross-Athens or load your U-Haul. We haul out the broken futon. We sell the dresser you don't want anymore. All of it, run by students who care.

The quote we send you is the price you pay. Period. We bill clearly: $145/hr for moving, monthly for storage.
