A 1.1 cubic-foot microwave is a confiscation on day one. Everything in every package meets UGA Housing's published limits, and we hang the decor the way the RA wants it hung.
- Microwaves: 1 cubic foot and 700 watts, maximum. — a 1.1 cu ft unit is confiscated on day one
- Refrigerators: 118 V ±5 %, 60 Hz, drawing no more than 1.5 amps or 180 watts. — most "dorm" fridges sold online exceed it
- Walls: thumbtacks, poster mounts or Command strips only. No nails or screws in any building. — we hang the decor the way the RA wants it
- Removable wallpaper is allowed; contact paper is not. — we use the one that peels clean
- One extension cord per appliance, never daisy-chained. — we run the cords right the first time
- No space heaters, room AC units, halogen bulbs, humidifiers, oil diffusers, plug-in air fresheners or personal routers. — none of it is in a package

What does "UGA-compliant" actually mean?+
UGA Housing publishes hard limits: microwaves no larger than 1 cubic foot and 700 watts, refrigerators no more than 1.5 amps or 180 watts, nothing nailed or screwed into a wall in any building, removable wallpaper fine but contact paper not. Every item we deliver meets those rules, so nothing gets confiscated on day one.
When is the balance due?+
$99 reserves the room now and is refundable until June 1. We invoice the balance (plus Georgia sales tax on the goods) in June, once we place the season's order, and it's due before move-in day.
Do you handle the move-in itself?+
Yes — that is the point. We arrive on move-in day with the package already unboxed and pre-assembled where possible, build what needs building, make the bed, arrange the room, and haul every piece of cardboard away with us.
What if the room is different from what the lookup says?+
Older halls vary room to room. Give us the room number when you have it and we'll confirm the fit before we order; if something doesn't fit, we swap it, not you.
How many rooms do you do?+
We cap it at 15 rooms per move-in season so every one is done right. When it's full, the form says so and offers the waitlist.
